Tomorrow the train will chug off for Patna, my gran ol' city...a new chapter will begin in the 'school of life'....From one corporate media house to another, I will begin life afresh...
All the exalted principles of morality fall flat in the face of consumerism...Journalism is no longer a social service, it caters to the avarice of corporates..n still the irony of journalism persists that it is a thankless profession with meagre renumerations...
I m not satisfied....I will be working on the same old shitty stuff just for satiating the 'news sense' of people by producing the same shitty stuff of 'two killed, one injured'...
So, creativity, as Mr Pinkham told us in the classroom, shud be killed...n to be brutally frank, the lil bit of creative element in me is choking..n if i stay longer in this profession, i might be branded a zombie...
Anyways, today the Naxals had called a 24-hr All India bandh...the most pertinent question here is: Do the masses support the extreme Left wing organisations? Despite the media created image of anti-Naxal feelings among the hoi-polloi, I think that the ultras are still popular among the poor. The mass base of Naxals and their staunch opposition to democracy is simply out of this world phenomenon.
They practice an internal democracy, the kind which Gandhi proposed...they want the rural economy to function properly, the root of development but hydra headed globalisation is out to strike out this root of development.

seeking meanings
'April is the cruellest month' but it brought happiness as a 'choti si love story' was born in the cruel summer.
A love story that had its origin in the 'mechanical clicks of keyboard' finally was lost on the infobhan.
Distance I thought intensified love but it can leave unforeseeable consequences too.
Romanticism, Ayn Rand says is a concept. It does not deal with the modern day trivia but symbolises what ought to be. It creates. It does not project.
Since we are too much consumed by the acrimonious realities of life, we can not think of a life not dotted with the real. We lose the sight of the ideal, the romantic in all of us. So, where are we all heading..in search of illusion?
Longevity in relationships like longevity of a literary text demands patience, the power to digest, a minimum level of tolerance, and sometimes the incontrovertible help of the du-ex-machina and above all the ability for fulfilling small wishes.
Sadly, few people overlook these pre-requisites.

retaliation
A man bubbling with enthusiasm suddenly finds himself at the far end of happiness, in an ante-room that leads to inferno.
But he is not forgiving. He is not a saint.

destiny's child
Adrenaline must be really running high for a close encounter with a long lost childhood friend. But someone will have a date with cruel destiny. And anger is also expressed in symbols. Childhood fren occupies the centrestage and kicks out the destiny's forgotten child. That's what AC said modern poetry is expressed through objective imagination. But he failed to elaborate on the modern day trauma of a youth displaced from his rightful place.

We are all suffering from 'IGNORANCE-IS-STRENGTH'-syndrome. After reading Orwell's 1984, it seems that the setting of the novel fits in very well with the scheme of things prevalent in Bihar. Today the minister of state for commercial taxes Dadan Singh alias Dadan Pehalwan Yadav organised a dangal n strangely there was huge turnout for this political melodrama. Not to mention that such an event was played up in the media. Seeing a sizeable media presence, the phalwan didn't stop of demanding 10 per cent reservation for phalwans in the parliament! I guess this move will finally give credence to criminalisation of politics. So, phalwans, besides flexing muscles, can use their brains too. Wow!!!!!!!
I m rotting in Ranchi...God only knows when I will get out of this rubbish place...

It's been a long time since i blogged. In fact i was caught in a rut...today finally shifted to a new place...nothing happening these days..Ranchi is so boring...seems the place is suferring from aesthetic and intellectual amnesia.....
Anyways, the political cauldron is all set to explode in the days to come...Kalayan is back into the BJP fold after having severed ties with the parent party.....Why? For ideological reasons..Nay....for enjoying the fruits of power....So, the days have come when the politicians have started making beeline to the tailor's shop for getting new kurtas for the election campaign...nothing in politics can be read in black and white except the lust for power.....but politicians are very particular about the colour of their kurtas.....it's always white.............But u can't see through the white magic of their kurtas....
I know that i have produced a shit today but after reading abt 4000 words this is what i m capable of..
